Production Administrator, Hodder Education

What you will be doing

Hodder Education has a great opportunity for someone with strong administrative skills to become a key member of our busy production department. This is an ideal job for someone wanting to demonstrate those skills, their ability to liaise at director level and to provide support. This is a critical role which would suit an individual who combines strong time management skills, accuracy, attention to detail and solution-focused approach.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Maintaining business-critical systems
  • Preparing reports.
  • Analysing data and reporting on targets
  • Assisting the production department with administrative tasks
  • Working closely with the stock controller, sales and commissioning team to ensure stock availability.

What we are looking for

The successful candidate is expected to have:

  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task and organise own workload effectively
  • Excellent numeracy
  • Ability to use initiative
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including first-class Excel skills.

What we offer

Once it’s safe to return, this role will be based in our London office on Victoria Embankment, as part of an experienced team in a dynamic working environment. The opportunity of working from home can also be explored and supported once the candidate has been inducted successfully. We offer 25 days holiday per annum, a pensions scheme, season ticket loan and further benefits.

Salary: £23,000 – £25,000, depending on experience
